Hooded Frog Towel for Toddlers

I had to get back in my sewing room! My intentions were to put the binding on my kitty quilt, but I just won't be happy until I find a chocolate brown and white dot to match or come close to the current fabric .... I ran out .... poor planning on that one!
Anyway, the last time I was visiting my grandchildren -- I just hated the really small baby hooded towels that were being used on Leila! They were way to small for her. (I didn't know at the time that they had a cute bunny hooded towel). Now daddy can be a frog as well as a bunny! LOL
I digitized the eyes and made a pattern. Since I love incorporating pretty fabrics, I used a green print that we used in one of the girls rooms. Pretty little funky looking flowers on green. Worked through my construction, took pictures, made notes .... now it's off to product testing in Houston before I design or make anymore. BYW -- The bottom left corner says "I'm the princess! (somebody has to be)

The other cool feature is that it tucks into itself nicely for easy carrying -- now I'm thinking great swim towel/cover-up?

It's a frog thing from my youth ..... I hated it when my mother used to tell me I had to kiss a lot of frogs ...

Diaper Burp Cloths for Braeden

Another little baby boy to join his big brother and sister. I didn't receive much direction other than she liked the colors, blue, brown, and red. Since I don't seem to do much for boys (always a challenge for me since I had girls) I had to really search my stash to see if I could make something with fabric I already had on hand.

We're bear lovers .... and I know I have oodles of bear embroidery designs, so when I found the bear fabric: off I went to find complimentary fabrics, designs, and digitize the name.

I hope mom and baby love them as much as I enjoyed making the set for them.
